Mouse Solver
A program that helps you use your mouse while saving loads of RAM.
It sets your mouse DPI, polling rate and basic lighting and saves them in the mouse memory, without the vendor software. It is made for PCs with fewer resources: a small portable program with no installation, background services or account, and fewer bugs, install problems and malfunctions.
RAM usage
Mouse Solver and Razer Synapse: measured by us on the same PC (for Mouse Solver the figure depends on the graphics card driver). The others: the lowest figure we found published online (click the number for the source); it may be higher on your PC.

What it does not do
- It does not replace the official programs: it only covers the basic settings.
- No advanced RGB: no animated or PC-synced effects, only basic colours and effects saved in the mouse.
- No macros, button remapping or firmware updates.
Read before using it
- This is a beta: most models have not been tested on a real mouse yet.
- Use it at your own risk, without any warranty (Apache 2.0 license).
- Before every change it saves a copy of your settings, which you can restore with one click.
- Close the vendor software before using it.
- Windows may show a warning because the program is not digitally signed.
- Not affiliated with Razer, ASUS, Logitech, Corsair, SteelSeries or any other manufacturer: brand names are only used to identify compatible models.
Help us add your mouse
Is your mouse not supported? The kit collects the data we need to add it: a read-only step (1 minute) and, if needed, a guided capture of how the official software talks to the mouse (about 15 minutes, needs USBPcap). It records only the chosen mouse, with no serial numbers or data from your PC. Then send us the results folder.
